Comments
Comments: Lovely day to get out on the trail. Started late as is my usual custom but only saw a handful of people all day. Minimal wind made for ample time to enjoy the many open ledges on this route. There is a beautiful snowshoe track established but it is still on the soft side. Needs a thaw and freeze cycle before spikes will be sufficient. Certainly deep snow depths up on the ridge. Blazes are now about 3 to 4 feet above snow level. Descent was easy and uneventful and only needed the headlamp for less than an hour.
