0.2 mile uphill from the trailhead, we found a "plowed out area" at a Plow turnaround. Signage prohibits streetside parking during the winter. And signage said to not park at or block the plow turnaround. But we felt good about tucking our car enough off the road so as to now block any plowing functions. That said... it was a beautiful day with no risk of plowing activity. Room for 1 car. |

At house #169, walk up driveway just a few yards, and pick up the Thorn Mtn. Trail on your immediate right, well prior to getting anywhere near the house.
The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow. Mellow down low; steeper up top.
