Comments
Comments: Did traverse from Kanc to Tripoli Rd. Greeley Pond Tr and Osceola Tr all the way to Osceola Peak is broken out and pretty
Well packed. The steep sections going up East have ice underneath. Chimney looks impassable without ice tools, Inwent upnthe bypass withbsnowshoes but crampons wouldn’t be a bad choice. There is a bushwhack around the bypass broken out as well—a bypass to the bypass. From Osceola to Tripoli Rd was unbroken fresh snow. All good now but the lower section(the rock garden) offers some ankle and knee twisting surprises under all that snow. Tripoli Rd is groomed for Xc Skiing so be considerate of the groomed tracks. About 2.4 Mi back to Depot parking lot.
