Comments
Comments: Lucky us...first ones on ithe trail so we had the pleasure of breaking trail all day in 6-10” of new snow. Unfortunately what could have been the start of a beautiful snowshoe track was quickly rototilled to shit by the 15 hikers who came after us wearing spikes and crampons. Trail is far from consolidated to kinsmans & cannon past the hut. If you’re headed that way tomorrow and you enjoy using the appropriate tool, then most likely you’ll want snowshoes. If you’re an amateur or have no regard for the safety and enjoyment of others, then grab your spikes or crampons and have at it.
