Full smorgasboard of conditions. A little bit of everything to make everyone "happy." Spikes car to car. Road walk frozen snow and ice. Garfield trail in and out of dirt, rocks, roots, snow, ice, running water, and a mixture of all for 4.3 miles to just below the 1/4 mile to tent site sign Then packed snow to summit. Spikes were screaming on the dirts and rocks. Oh well, consumable inventory. Ice was the predominate condition up to 4.3. |
