The crossing on LST was mostly bridged, just required traction and some care |

A couple of blow downs (one right before tent site and then one in between Liberty & Flume) both very easy to step over or around |

Microspikes or Hillsounds the entire way is ideal - Trail is bony for the bottom mile the consistently icy the rest of the way up to Liberty. The FRT between the peaks was a well packed mixture of ice and snow. Snowshoes definitely not needed until the next storm; I left mine in the car based on previous reports and was glad to not have to carry them! |
