Lions Head (Summer)
Ice on the approach trail. Needed light traction. Put on crampons beginning at Lion's Head trail. Icy. Went summer route (Winter is closed). Frozen snow with less than an inch of light powder/rime. In the clouds on way up. Headed off summit a little before noon. Sun came out before we got below tree line. |
