Mixed trail conditions now. With the coming rain, expect lots of icy trails. Stony Brook Trail to Moriah was soft packed - spikes worked fine. Carter Moriah from Stony Brook to North Carter was soft packed - snowshoes worked best. North Carter to South Carter - either were good. South Carter to trailhead was hard packed with some ice - spikes recommended. |
