Comments
Comments: Tuckerman Ravine trail up to Lion Head Summer Route junction was very well maintained. Hard-packed and wide. Spikes were helpful on this section of the trail. Most of the Lion Head Summer route was fine with light traction; however, some areas required full traction. Once above treeline and switching back onto the Tuckerman Ravine trail up the summit cone, full traction and an ice axe are recommended. There are some sections were if you slip, you will just keep going. Good traction is needed on the summit cone. Overall, it was a great day with clear skies, low winds, and sun! :)
