Terrific day to be out. We carried snow shoes but the trail was so solid they were not necessary. Lots of ice on the lower climb. Sharp spikes are advised. Above the first view the ice turns to well packed snow. If you need Carrigain conditions right now are ideal trail wise. Very windy on the ridge and tower but views were sensational. Other trails not broken out. |
