Comments
Comments: We need more snow. Wore snowshoes from the start to help pack down whatever snow we had. Given the gradual approach under the pine canopy, it was kind of dicey. Some open streams/rock garden exist on the trail in a few spots. PITA with the snow shoes. Lots of powder on the ridge. Ridge is in great shape. Saw a group of 4 with snowshoes who helped stomp out a sidewalk. Summit was in the clear, watch for a serious hidden patch of ice on the actual summit. Wore snowshoes for about half the descent but they slowed me down tremendously at the tough patches. We need a good snow!
