Comments
Comments: Broke trail from wilderness boundary halfway up Bondcliff trail early. Big props to Kiki & “Sleeveless” Sally, two very accomplished hikers I met up with on Bondcliff & hiked with to the summit. The cliff, up, was the only spot I switched to spikes to gain more secure footing on the cliff - otherwise it was snow shoes the entire way on loose, powder snow. Top of Bondcliff was barren, save for some blue ice. All in all, a great winter opening day with 360 degree views! Back to the car at 7pm where it looked like another group was just starting(?)
