 | Comments: |
Snow at lower elevations was 6 - 8 inches deep, progressively deeper at summit elevation. I wore snowshoes whole hike. Pikes Peak view was very fine on this cold clear day with light breezes. Being first person to hike in new snow I found it difficult in couple of spots to follow the trail. I noticed some new yellow disks recently added, trail could use a few more to clarify route in those spots. I went out to the view ledge for Newfound Lake and Mount Cardigan. I disregarded the No Trespassing sign which I think is stupid. Who do these jokers think they are? |
