Crawford Path to Pierce well packed out. No need for traction other than micro spikes.
Thanks to two earlier hikers that headed over to Eisenhower on snowshoes. They put in a good path, never easy on this section. Two other hikers with snowshoes followed me and we smoothed out the trail well. Met one barebooter heading back, who admitted of having turned around as it was too tough without snowshoes. I did not gloat on his admission. We were altogether three hikers with snowshoes and we made a decent, smooth path with our snowshoes. I am sure tomorrow's hikers, to get their first winter hike in will enjoy our work. |
