We were able to get into the parking lot with the 4wd. Otherwise, there is parking a little way along the road next to Irvin Gas Station. |

A perfect winter wonderland hike today. The trail is in great shape and we were comfortable in microspikes. Snow shoes are not needed yet although we did see a group wearing them and they were cruising. This is a sheltered steady climb through the woods to an amazing view. |
