Comments: Conditions were varied, generally not enough snow for snowshoes and adequate for spikes. Snowshoes would have been best for the section above the Camp Rich site with drifts and deeper powder and we churned it up a bit not wearing them but not badly. There is some ice under the snow in places.

Person we talked to in the lot afterward indicated conditions were similar on Whiteface.
