Comments
Comments: A great trip up Pierce today in the snow. As of 2pm when we finished, about 2-3" of fresh powder. There is a lot of ice randomly on trail to various degrees so be careful with the fresh snow as it covers the ice but isn't enough to prevent the "slipping hazards". Lots of running water in normal places. Packed monorail for the most part where there was enough snow from previous storms to make this happen. While it might not seem like a bunch of snow, if you step off where it's packed you will sink a bit. Very interesting conditions felt like a mix of Nov/Dec meets April. Wore microspikes from the start to finish and they were very helpful.
