Comments
Comments: The Thunderbird Trail was dry with occasional ice until higher up where there was snow cover that had been rain-saturated then frozen as hard as ice. We donned spikes there and wore them over Shaw and Black Snout all the way to Flagg. Some ice and hard snow below Flagg that diminished with elevation loss. Thunderbird Trail had copious, unnecessary orange ties, many of which had fallen to the ground.
Great day with Chris and Renee. Stunning views and interesting and varied trails.
