Comments
Comments: Our plans was first trying to do a carter traverse starting by carter dome from carter notch. However, the high winds and low visibility made us to choose a safer hike. The trail has many post holes due to saturday rain, we hiked on mashed potatoe snow on that day. Fortunately, the cold has made the snow hard on Sunday. Many sections were basically a stream of melting snow with dead leaves. Icy spots, sharpen well your microspikes. Wear goretex boots. Hopefully, it will get better.
