 | Comments: |
Met two gents from E.Portsmouth,N.H.@Galehead hut doing the Twins/Galehead traverse. They must have been in the whistling wind up on the Twins early in A.M.! Followed a man and his dog up and down but never saw either. Had fun looking at all the different animal tracks!
First 1/3rd : Sorta snotty wet/leafy/snow/ice trail conditions with warmth, recent rainfall. Got seasonally appropriate with elevation. Solid snow/ice pack last 1/3rd. Snowshoes with heelevaters @ steepest section made the hike most do-able. |
