The crossings were a bit higher than normal due to the warm spell a few days ago, but certainly doable if you are mindful where you're putting your feet and poles. |

Traction is definitely needed (microspikes). Snow was hard enough where snowshoes were unnecessary. Watch your footing, there is boilerplate ice in a few areas of the trail, and in the exposed half mile to the summit it increases. There are a few areas where there are postholes, but not too bad. |
