| Comments: |
Ascended valley way on a packed trail with microspikes until just above the tentsite then snowshoes were needed as drifts were 18-24 inches deep some packed some not . Switched back to microspikes to summit Madison and Adam's. Cairns above treeline were easily visible today when descending into treeline on Airline there is approximately a 1000 ft stretch that snowshoes would be helpful. There is also some frozen water flowage on trail which for most part could be sidestepped. |
