 | Comments: |
Trail surface was mostly soft, packed snow. Didn't bother with microspikes until reaching the loop trail, and even then they were just minimally helpful. The hike would have been do-able with just boots. Snowshoes would have been helpful between the North and South peaks, but not necessary. Got stuck behind a particularly large group of about a dozen hikers going up the North peak, took a solid half hour for them to let us pass. 10/10 butt sliding down the South peak. |
