Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Minor crossings on the Cutoff are easy stepovers.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good condition. One large blow-down on Blueberry Ledge about one mile in. Easy stepover.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Unless your dog can jump onto a seven foot high rock, it will not make it up two of the steep ledges without assistance. I had to lift Brodie's 80 pounds halfway up these steep parts and then push from behind, but he made it. Otherwise he had a great time in the snow.
Bugs
Bugs:
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing

Comments
Comments: A thin but solid base the entire length. About two inches semi-consolidated dry new snow at the trailhead, with increasing amounts starting just below the ledges. Close to one foot of new snow at the summit. Enough hikers had been over the trail that the trail was decently booted in and light traction is all that was needed.
