| Comments: |
Put down a second set of snowshoe tracks in the current layer of snow. Easy to follow trail up until the alpine zone, where drifts had covered most of the previous tracks. Snow coverage was half a foot at base and 1-4 feet up near the hut. Didn’t summit Washington due to poor visibility. Watch your foot placement and be wary of unpacked powder in the pine stands. |
