Great hike despite the cold. Put spikes on right away and left them on until the end of the day. Could’ve used snowshoes at the very summit of Bondcliff as drifts were deep but I didn’t bother to as it wouldn’t really have been worth the effort unless continuing onto bond and west bond. The rock ledge before treeline was icy and snow covered so it took a minute to carefully tread. Didn’t see anyone all day except at the trailhead |
