Comments
Comments: It was an incredibly beautiful day and we only saw 4 other hikers. I think everyone wanted to get home before the storm. The trees were laden with snow, packed powder trails, sun sparkling through the trees until noonish, no wind making the cold temps easy to handle. Microspikes were perfect. Not much view from Tom, Field was better and Avalon was the best, but the forest was so magical that it didn't matter. I would highly recommend doing the loop in that order.
