 | Comments: |
Trace amounts of snow and ice before the first water crossing. Built steadily after that. By the time you reach the lake you will be in several inches of snow with the expected ice. Traction devices necessary. Above the lake the snow is powdery. Beautiful views from the ledges. A hiker coming down told us he saw bear tracks on the ledges in the snow but we did not find them. Saw 4-5 other parties on the trail. |
