 | Comments: |
Lincoln woods was a lumpy ice skating rink, I immediately put my spikes on once I cross the ranger station porch and they stayed on the rest of the day. Some VERY SMALL patches of dirt on osseo which I kept my spikes on for. Some ice patches on osseo but mostly snow. Saw a couple of people coming down in varying levels of traction, the guy wearing full 12 point crampons looked at me like I was crazy but he was wearing those on a trail with 1 inch of snow on it and rocks sticking through soooo. The ladders were a b*** but I didn’t have poles since I was running which would’ve made this more pleasant. Over all a good day to run up a mountain and good conditions so get it while it’s hot people. |
