|Lost and Found:
||Started at Lafayette Campground, went up Hi-Cannon trail to Cannon, then via Kinsman Ridge Trail to Kinsman Pond, and then back down via Fishin' Jimmy Trail and Lonesome Lake Trail.|
Microspikes are the appropriate traction for all of these trails (not enough snow for snowshoes). The Lonesome Lake Trail was nicely packed down; Hi-Cannon and Fishin' Jimmy were all right, with a little bit of unpacked powder (1-2"), Kinsman Ridge was a little worse, with slightly more unpacked powder (1-4") leading to slightly slower hiking.
For anyone who enjoys walking across frozen ponds: Kinsman Pond seemed safe to walk across. Lonesome Lake didn't (you could see some holes in the ice due to attempts, though).
