Followed a couple up the ski trail. A bunch of folks were coming up the Old Path to North peak. Nobody had been on the western spur trail so we missed it. I went back to check out the view since last time I didn't make it before sunset. Great views! No time to check out the daytime views on South peak unfortunately. One guy snowboarded down and said it was tough conditions - understandably as there was about 4 inches of wet snow which should make for a good base when it hardens. Snowshoes not needed yet but will be soon. Light traction could be helpful on the steep sections although I never put my microspikes on. |
