Did not like look of crossing on Sandwich Mt. Trail. Back to car and down the road to stream culvert. Went into woods there and picked up trail. The crossing of Drakes Brook coming out was pretty good. An ice layer is starting to form so used that and rocks to zip over. I did use micros for the crossing. |

Lots of step overs. Sandwich Mt. Trail between Smarts Brook Tr. junction and summit has more than a few and one tree vertical in trail. |

Went up today with temps in low 20's rather than tomorrow. About 3 inches of new snow. I did not need micros. Did not find any ice. It was a lovely day to be out. I did not see another person all day. |
