Comments
Comments: I had contacted the ski area via Facebook, and they welcomed us to hike the mountain, using any trail we wished to. An employee chatted with us on the way out, and seemed happy to see us there.. and told us to come back any time.

Facing the mountain we went right, taking a combination of ATV service road and ski slopes up to the top most ski lift. (On the way down, we would come out on the left hand side, which was a better route. The upper ski lift is due east of the peak.

From there, an ATV road heads northerly towards the wind turbines. We followed this as it climbed the summit cone, bringing us to a communication tower of sorts. To the Right of this tower we took a small path heading towards the wind turbines. A short ways into the woods, we bushwhacked south, only about 500', towards the peak.

We weren't completely sure if the wooded high point was the true summit, or if a bump out in a field of crappy regrowth was the true summit.. so we hit both.

Great views from the summit... just super.

Fun day out with Gorbo, Rueben, Dave U. and Fran.

ps - we always underestimate how long it will take to climb a ski area :-)
