Comments
Comments: Temps were in the 30's and once you got above the trees it was windy and pretty gusty as you got near the top. Brought Micro-spikes and used in a couple of spots, however, they were not needed and I did not use on the way down. This should change with the weather expected on Tuesday the 12th and then the cold weather coming in afterwards. Plenty of people who were not carrying any gear or water. A nice couple with Micro-spikes turned around at the last scramble at the top of the White Arrow which at that point was acting as a funnel for the wind. Less people on the Summit on a Sunday then there was when I was on Phelps in the ADK during foliage season on a Saturday.
