Comments
Comments: Nice sunny day and I have the sunburn to prove it! Ammo trail in good shape. I showshoed up to the hut and then switched to crampons. Monroe Loop very icy. Crawford Path to Washington was boiler plate and ice. The upper part of the Gulfside was very icy so I opted to walk beside the COG tracks to the Westside junction and then cut back to the Gulfside on my way to the Jewell. Jewell trail was a lot of brush in face most of the way with the current snow depth. Nice day above tree line.
