| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Mostly I put this up to mention that Zealand Road is pretty icy underneath a thin layer of snow. If you don't have snow tires (I didn't have mine on yet), the twisty steep section at the bottom is somewhat challenging coming down. While you're not going to get stuck if you go off because it's just mud and dirt in the ditch, you could run into trouble if you're coming down and get sliding sideways and someone is coming uphill with a good head of steam! |
