Comments
Comments: The trail was pretty nice at noon, with a thoroughly boot packed 1/2 base. By 4pm or so, the lower half was pretty melted and chewed up. Conditions persisted up the Fishin' Jimmy trail, though less people, so less compacted. I went on up to the steeps, where probably half way up I decided to turn around at a tricky ledge. I didn't have any trouble with the little ledgey spots prior to that though. Seems like more nice rock stairs than I remember from years past.
Comfortable in spikes all day. Glad I packed a spare. Always snap one the first hike. The rubber dries out and gets slightly more brittle over the summer.
