The one water crossing coming down from Isolation still had a fairly good snowbridge |

I would not recommend bringing dogs above treeline right now. Lots of ice. |

| Comments: |
Great hike with Sabrina, Bryan, and Megan. Headed up Ammonoosuc to Monroe. Microspikes and snowshoes were the traction of choice. We switched to crampons as we headed up to Washington and then over to Boott Spur. Just before dropping below treeline we switched back to snowshoes. We had trouble following the trail but kept going south until we reached North Isolation. Trail had been previously broken out to Isolation. |
