Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Haystack Road still open, but snow covered throughout, 8 cars at trailhead when we started, we were the last out.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Slush 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Slippery snow covered rocks made the small crossing a little tricky, but certainly doable. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Fair amount of blow downs on the last half of FWT, all easily passed.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a cell phone in a foot or so of water inbetween leaving the North Twin Trail and finding the Fire Warden’s Trail. Send me an email with details and I’ll get you the phone.

Comments: Great day to hike with my fellow morons! Nice restricted views of the Presidentials from the FWT. Full sun on snow covered trees made for a beautifully day.
