Started at Zealand and ended at Lincoln Woods - plenty of parking at both locations. About 2 inches of snow at the start and a little more up high with some drifts going over to Bond. A few new blow-downs but easy to go around. Much less snow heading down off Bond Cliff and just a dusting into Lincoln Woods. Trails were easily followed. Wore light traction from hut to Bond Cliff (ice under snow on rocks in many areas). Saw just a few people. All water crossings were easily crossed. We did watch a fisher cat dragging it's catch off the trail on our way back from West Bond. A great day with minimal wind. |
