North to South Traverse. Bare booted to the hut and from there it was snowshoes all the way to Lincoln Woods. Trail was broken to Zealand with a back door approach to the summit. No one had been on the trails since the last storm. There were 4 of us today who broke trail all the way. Some trail finding between Zealand and Guyot. Guyot, and Bondcliff mostly bare rocks and ice patches. All others had heavy snow and lots of it most trail signs are buried. A great day out. Thanks to Russ Wiggin, Bruce Pfendler, and Ned Bergman for the help today. #575 on the Grid. One left |
