| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Arrived at the trailhead off Tripoli Road around 9:45am today and had to park along the road. There is a $5 fee to park (or have a valid pass). Not sure how much longer Tripoli Road will be open - sign at the end in Waterville Valley says it’s closed from Nov-May. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns on the way up including one that’s blocking virtually the whole trail near the parking lot. Trail could use some more blazes - we don’t recall seeing too many. |

| Comments: |
There are 2 bathrooms at the trailhead. Trail was rather muddy and wet to start, but got drier the higher in elevation we went. Running water on the trail in spots. Ice on the trail and rock slabs maybe three quarters of a mile or so from the summit. We opted to use our spikes (though we saw plenty of folks barebooting). Some snowflakes flying as we descended. |
