One true crossing on Jackson was fine to cross |

One pretty good blowdown about a mile up Jackson- Webster trail that was a challenge to go around. One other blocking trail about 1/3 mile down from Jackson summit heading toward Mitzpah Hut |

Trails are streams. Ice up to a Pierce but I did go without spikes to Pierce summit. As I headed towards Jackson put my spikes on and wore them over to Jackson down to about 3000 ft. Expect things will freeze again tonight. I was happy to be wearing spikes. Many others went without but I say you won’t regret bringing them. |
