Comments
Comments: Great day to be above treeline! Carried snowshoes all day, didn't need them. Trail well traveled by skiiers, making for some slippery side-hilling in places. As you near the snowfields below the hut, there are multiple "tracks" to follow....we just went UP. From hut to summit, crampons are necessary, lots of ice. Saw more skiiers than hikers out there today. Got a little slushy on the way down, but trail isn't a postholed mess yet!
