Walk this logging Road, which heads NW. Within a few yards, ford the stream. 20’ wide and shin deep. We used the “plastic bags over our boots†which worked well.
Walk this gravel logging road 0.8 mile NW to a fork. We opted to go Right, northerly, as we believed the left logging road would be wet as it was closer to the drainage. This “Right†was still a gravel logging road, but became more grassy. Took this for another 0.8 mi. Until it petered out.
BW’d NW towards the border swarth. Mucky and wet in places after all the rain we’ve had. About 0.5 mile of bushwhacking to swarth.
Hiked swarth SW to Summit. High point seemed to be on the Canadian side :-)
6.1 mi. RT. Fun hike with JEM3.
