Comments
Comments: Magalloway Road 9.6 mi. Sharp R still on Magalloway 1.1 mi. L at Junction, still on Magalloway 0.9 mi. Left onto unnamed road heading N’ly. Some folks park south of the summit, but this looked like a steep approach. So we drove this road 2.8 miles, until it circled around to a HOL off the N / NW side. Found a narrow spot off road to park.

Roads easily driven in a high clearance car.

Bushwhacked SE’ly to peak. Bottom third full of bare hobble and raspberry cane. Gain was gradual until fina cone, which was a bit steeper. Good time of year to go as all the leaves are down. 1.7 mi. RT

Fun hike with JEM3.
