Wet, wet, wet on this loop. The road walk was fine but Ledge Trail took care on the slabs and scrambles due to wet ledge. Glad I was going up instead of down. Pine Mountain Trail along the ridge has running / standing water. The Chapel Rock loop spur and Pine Mountain Loop we're generally ok, although the latter has some tilted bog bridges which aren't useful when wet.
The only hint of a view I got was when the sun popped out briefly while ascending Ledge Trail. After that, the peak remained in the clouds and there were zero views from any of the outlooks. But that's ok, I wasn't here for the views today. |
