On the way to Pine Mountain I stopped here to check out the falls, which were running strong from yesterday's rains. This trail is short, but also quite steep! Descent was slow due to mud and slippery roots. I was hoping to get some good shots of the falls, but the best vantage point appears to be down along the brook and I wasn't about to scramble down the wet slope. Still impressive though! |
