Comments
Comments: I recently noticed very impressive rocky pinnacle while driving on Route 171. Gaia App indicated it was Bald Knob. I took the opportunity to hike it via Shannon Brook Trail, Bald Knob Cutoff, and Bald Knob Trails. Bald Knob proved to be one of the finest view ledges I've been to in the Ossipee Mountains. I will definitely be coming back to this little gem explore other routes. Also notable was an excellent rock outcrop of columnar jointing remnant of the Ossipee Range's volcanic past.
