We were the only car in the parking lot at 9 am this morning; and only one other car arrived after that. We parked at the Kanc trailhead. |

First water crossing was very doable with poles; without poles, it might prove a bit difficult. |

Some blow downs that required crawling low to the ground on hands and knees; no herd paths. |

All in all, with the exception of the blow downs, which were not an issue, just a bit of a nuisance, it's a great trail and jaunt in the woods--East Pond is lovely and is the more attractive between it and Little East Pond. |
